Deconstruction is the careful removal of building materials from homes to be salvaged for reuse. The ReStore Deconstruction dept salvaged items from over 200 homes last year and through the resale of these items we generated nearly $250,000 in profit through our two area ReStores. The ReStore offers deconstruction as a free service and all items salvaged are tax deductible. We are able to salvage items such as cabinets, doors, windows, plumbing fixtures, lighting and architectural items from both houses slated for demolition and from remodels. Our Deconstruction team consists of trained professionals who work hard to meet demolition deadlines and take great pride and care in their work and on the homes they are working on.
