Deconstruction is the careful removal of building materials from homes, to be salvaged for reuse.
The Charlotte ReStore's Deconstruction department salvaged items from over 200 homes last year.
The ReStore offers deconstruction as a free service, and all items salvaged are tax deductible. We are able to salvage items such as cabinets, doors, windows, plumbing fixtures, lighting, and architectural items from both houses slated for demolition and from remodels.
Our Deconstruction team consists of trained professionals who work hard to meet demolition deadlines, and take great pride and care in their work and on the homes they are working on.
To schedule a deconstruction consult, call the donation hotline at 704-392-4495.
