The ReStore takes donations of gently used or new merchandise and resells those items to the general public. Proceeds from the sale of these items helps support the mission of Habitat for Humanity.
We Need Your Stuff
The ReStore offers a unique variety of items for your home. From building materials, to furniture, to new and used cabinets. You never know exactly what you'll find when you walk into a Habitat ReStore, which is part of the fun for treasure hunters.
Schedule a Donation Pick-up
Do you have items you'd like to donate? Visit our donation drop off areas at either of our two Charlotte ReStores. We have staff available to assist you in unloading your donated items during business hours.
If you have larger items to donate and need assistance getting them to the ReStore, we offer a donation pick-up service for larger items*. You can call our Donation Hotline (704-392-4495) to schedule a donation pick-up.
We'd love to be able to take everything but some things we are just not able to sell. Things like linens and computer equipment for example we cannot sell, but on our Donations Needed page you'll find some other agencies who have a need for those items. Organizations such as the Goodwill Computer Works for example, can take donations of computer products and refurbish them for resell. Click here to learn more about our donation criteria.
**We suggest you schedule your donation pick-up at least one week in advance as we often have a high volume of requests for donation pick-up.
**To effectively serve the ministry of Habitat for Humanity we are limited to sending donation pick-up vehicles only when donated items would generate sufficient revenue to cover the costs of the donation pick-up service, for items that are in sellable condition, and that meet our donations criteria.
