Business failure becomes a blessing for Habitat ReStores

Walk into the Habitat for Humanity ReStore on North Wendover Road, and you can't miss them:
Slabs of stone - marble, granite and travertine in earthy shades of brown, beige, green, russet and black--nestled between sofas and cabinets on one side and bathroom fixtures on the other.
The display extends from the entry kiosk back into the ReStore, tempting shoppers to pause and consider the possibilities they hold: a bathroom vanity, a kitchen island, perhaps a tabletop.
