VOLUNTEERS NEEDED

The ReStore could not operate without the help of volunteers.  There are many options for individuals, and groups are great too.  Click the links below for more details. Shifts are flexible, and there are store discounts available for regular volunteers.

Community Service

Individuals who have community service requirements can perform their hours at the Habitat Re-Store (some restrictions apply).  In order for the ReStore to provide documentation of service, prior arrangement must be made by contacting Lisa Morrison, Volunteer Coordinator at lmorrison@charlotterestore.org, 704.716.7040 x 2.  Minimum age for court-ordered community service is 18. Age Restrictions

The ReStore cannot accept volunteers under the age of 14.

14 & 15 year olds must have a parent or guardian volunteering with them.

Anyone under the age of 18 must present a minor release form that has been completed by a parent or guardian before volunteering.  Click here to download the form.  If you are 16 or 17 years old and planning to volunteer without a parent or guardian, you may have them complete the form and bring it with you when you come.

Volunteer Schedule

Full day or half day shifts available each week, Tuesday—Saturday.

Tuesday—Friday shifts are 9:00—1:00 and 1:00—5:00

Saturday shifts are 8:45—1:00 and 1:00—5:00
